Description
1. support and accelerate the capacity of organisations to deliver high quality recovery focused
services by encouraging the employment of people with a lived experience of mental health
or of caring for someone who does
2. promote partnerships that ensure peer work programs are embraced by both the Community
Managed and Public Mental Health Services working together.
Funds can be used to prepare an organisation for peer workers, promote cultures that welcome peer
workers, provide training or assist in the development of support structures.
In order to develop the capacity of the peer workforce, a comprehensive approach would compromise
all four of these components.
Eligible applicants will be able to apply for grants of up to $50,000. The total pool of non-recurrent
funds is $100,000.
