Provide an analysis of key trends and comparison of Tasmania with other states and territories, including, but not limited to: an update of the gambling industry structure and characteristics; changes and trends in gambling behaviour; and revenue. Undertake a gambling prevalence study to enable comparisons with previous Tasmanian prevalence studies. The Department of Treasury and Finance is seeking the services of an appropriately qualified consultant (or a consortium of consultants/researchers) to undertake a Social and Economic Impact Study of Gambling in Tasmania in 2020, as required under the Gaming Control Act 1993. Local industry participation is encouraged. The scope of this Study is to:
