BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

The indicative project scope involves the development, design and construction of:

• Roe Highway / Great Eastern Highway Bypass interchange
• Abernethy Road / Lloyd Street / Great Eastern Highway Bypass interchange
• Upgrade Great Eastern Highway Bypass (Abernethy Road – Roe Highway)
• Upgrade Roe Highway
• Lloyd St Extension including a bridge over the Helena River
• Duplicate Abernethy Road between Adelaide Street and south of Dundas Road

“The Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016 (Building Code) applies to the building work associated with this project. By submitting an expression of interest in, or tender for, this project, you will become subject to the Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016. Refer to the Building Code at employment.gov.au/building-code for further information.”

“It is a requirement of this project that any persons contracted to undertake the building work be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme established by the Building and Construction (Improving Productivity) Act 2016, at the time of the RFP Stage 1 closing for the building work and while the building work is being carried out.

Tenderers intending to submit a bid as a Joint Venture must review the additional requirements as outlined by Section 26(1)(f) of the Fair Work (Building Industry – Accreditation Scheme) Regulations 2016 by the Federal Safety Commission (located at http://www.fsc.gov.au)”
