Description
The Strategic Information Management System (SIMS) within the Department of Treasury is a crucial Treasury business tool required for data collection and consolidation for Whole of Government budget management and financial reporting. It is being built in-house with the intention to test and finalise key modules in early 2012. The system implementation is planned for October 2012.
The People and Governance team within the Department of Treasury are coordinating the testing, training and communications functions of the SIMS implementation. The Department is seeking the services of an experienced IT / Systems Trainer to supplement the in-house training management.
