This project involves the replacement of 7 of Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) units in the Lavarack Barracks Combat Training Centre (CTC) HQ building located at Townsville QLD. The units operate using R22 refrigerant which is phased out in current HSEQ guidance. As part of Fire Safety Remediation there are 5 security doors with non-compliant door hardware and leaves for rectification.
