Forrestfield Airport Link (FAL) Technical Support Services

The Public Transport Authority (PTA) requires the services of a technical services consultancy during the delivery phase of the Project for provision of a multi-discipline engineering and environmental team to support the PTA’s representative in the review of the D&C Contractor’s design documentation and other technical service tasks as required and directed by the Project’s Engineering Assurance Manager. The technical services contract will be managed by the Project’s Engineering Assurance Manager.

The Technical Services Contractor may be required to act as a Project Engineer representing the PTA’s Network and Infrastructure (N&I) Division in some disciplines which cannot be filled in-house with existing PTA staff capabilities as directed by the Project’s Engineering Assurance Manager.

1. The Technical Services Contractor will provide the following:
   1. Management and coordination of all services provided by the Technical Services Contractor.
   2. Upon request, technical review of project plans, design reports, drawings, method statements, ITPs, specifications and other documentation submitted to PTA’s Representative by the D&C Contractor.
   3. Upon request, independent review services on behalf of Project stakeholders (ASA, Brookfield Rail, etc.).
   4. Upon request, suitably qualified personnel to fill PTA Project Engineer roles
   5. Upon request, technical advice throughout construction, commissioning and the Defects Correction Period.

The Technical Services Contractor will be required to provide technical services and advice within specified disciplines and subject matter areas

Tenderers must tender for all the services required under the Scope of Services in accordance with Book 3 Schedule 8 Consultant’s brief.
