Water Treatment Maintenance Services

Museums Victoria (MV) is an agency of the State Government of Victoria through Creative Victoria and the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industries and Regions. MV is the largest public museums organisation in Australia, connecting audiences with history, science and culture. MV manages four sites – Melbourne Museum, the Royal Exhibition Building, Scienceworks and the Immigration Museum. Melbourne Museum has been in continuous operation since 1854 and in its current location in Carlton Gardens, adjacent to the Royal Exhibition Building since 2000. MV is firmly focused on delivering positive experiences for our visitors through presenting an informative showcase of our shared past, present and future.

MV is seeking submissions via an RFT process for water treatment maintenance services across its facilities to be delivered over a period of 5 years, encompassing an initial 3 (Three) year term with an option for 2 (Two) x 1 (One) year extensions. The RFT seeks the provision of a single provider to undertake water treatment maintenance which satisfies both Museums Victoria’s internal and legislative requirements.

The required maintenance contract will include but not be limited to the provision of routine statutory and regulatory maintenance, corrective maintenance, attendance to Call-Outs and reporting to Museums Victoria for Water Treatment Services at the following sites:

• Melbourne Museum (MM)

• Royal Exhibition Building (REB)

• Immigration Museum (IM)

• Merri-bek Annexe Storage Facility (MA)

• Scienceworks (SW)
