Gladstone SHS - Resource Centre Refurbishment (With Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Resource Centre Refurbishment at Gladstone SHS, located at 30 Dawson Hwy, Gladstone Central QLD 4680, as part of the Direct (DIRECT) program.

The works include a new sick back, 2 new virtual classrooms and refurbishment of the existing facilities. The position of the building is at the side of the school with easy site access and working space. All works are to be completed by the end of January 2025.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 million

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
