Description

The Department of Education and Training is seeking development services, aimed at achieving the broad set of functionalities for the Learning Place website. Development services include requirements gathering, analysis and design, coding, and developer testing.
The Contractor is required to provide a multidisciplinary team of skilled resources as required to meet the required development objective, this includes:
• MOSS/ SharePoint Technical Specialist/Team lead
• MOSS /SharePoint Solution Architect
• .Net Developer
• Technical Writer (as required)
The new website is focussed on delivering:
Additional functionality in the staff and authoring environment (edStudio) to include chat and replicate the functionality of two existing applications - Project Rooms and Collaborative Online .A collaboration space to provide a noticeboard and marketing environment for educational projects. In addition it will support project registration with the ability to enable bulk allocation of access and authoring rights downstream edTube Albums and edStudios.
A delivery platform for live and on-demand educational programs for students. Students can view a learning program calendar within their student space and register to participate in live programs.
