Description

The Department of Defence, in order to properly respond to it’s legislative obligations, conducts administrative inquiries, discipline hearings and criminal proceedings as part of it’s ordinary business. Court recording and transcription services are required when holding Defence Force Magistrate trials (DFM), Courts Martial, as well as Commissions of Inquiry.

In conducting the above, Defence may require the recording and or transcription of evidence given during an interview or for a whole proceeding.

Transcription services may also be required for matters including Commissions of Inquiry, Boards of Inquiry or other administrative investigations and or inquiries. These actions may require a mixture of running transcripts, and or next day transcription.

Some of these activities may take place nationally, usually within a State or Territory’s capital city, but could also be conducted in one of over 50 different regional sites within Commands, bases and units across Australia, as well as overseas, including on deployment.
