Description

The Department of Transport is seeking a suitable Contractor to provide advice on and install Bike Skills Tracks projects on an existing area of either bitumen, concrete, or paving (such as a tennis court, netball court, or paved courtyard) for Western Australian (WA) Perth Metropolitan based schools only, on an as-needed basis. For the purpose of this RFT, a Bike Skills Track is defined as a space with a coloured treatment and/or line markings applied to an existing hard surface to create cycle pathways, suitable for small bikes and scooters. The track will also include floor decal signage. The purpose of the track is to create a space designed for young children learning to ride or scoot, or for children who want a ‘road’ riding experience without the risks of cycling on roads.
