Description
The Flinders Ranges Council was successful in receiving grant funding for Stage 2 of the Quorn Bush Tucker Trail. Stage 1 has been completed which has seen the installation of 1.3km of concrete walking path linking the newly constructed bush food garden, important community facilities and providing a link between the North and South of the township.
Stage 2 will provide a link from Stage 1 and connect to the newly renovated Community Hall, Town Oval, Pinkerton Creek and back to Silo Road, which will join the newly constructed paved footpath which was installed as part of the upgrade along Railway Terrace.
Stage 2 work will consist of:
-preparation and construction of the 630m x 2.5m wide walking path as per specification.
- removal of any existing infrastructure along proposed alignment, and reinstallation as required.
- backfill and remediation of site once concrete has been installed.
* Not all drawings laid out in the specification drawings will be relevant to this work.
This grant funded project will need to be completed by June 30 2022
