Description
Provision of transport services to and from school for students enrolled in Intensive English Language Program centres who meet transport eligibility requirements. The Intensive English Language Program Centres (IELP centre) in DECD schools provides intensive English language support for students with a language and cultural background other than English. Departmental practice has been to provide transport to under 10 year olds who live more than 1.75km from their school, to ensure that students attend the school’s IELP centre regularly and travel safely
