Description
The Township of Kingscote has an existing Septic Tank Effluent Disposal System which operates from Kingscote, out to Brownlow, and then on to the Evaporation Ponds past the Golf Club near Estuary Drive. The system is generally a connection of gravity pipes linking to a common pressure main to the ponds.
This project aims to upgrade part of the main pressure line to remove an ageing and under capacity section of the pipe to a newer larger capacity. Linked with this project is an inclusion of a separate pressure line pipe for future reuse of treated water in the township of Kingscote.
The project is required to future proof the Community Wastewater Management System (CWMS) of Kingscote and allow for the future development in and around the town.
