Description
The Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) uses an assorted range of operational equipment across a diverse and geographically disperse environment, including maritime, aviation and other operational areas. This equipment is used at the border to assist in primary and secondary intervention of suspected prohibited or restricted goods while facilitating legitimate trade and travel.
This equipment needs to be replaced due to age and impending or actual obsolesce. DIBP seeks to engage suitably qualified organizations for the provision of replacement equipment (the Equipment) which includes all replacement parts and consumables, as well as the provision of training, and ongoing support and maintenance (the Services)
The provision of the Equipment includes the following:
*Hazardous Materials Identification;
*Substance Detection and Identification; and
*Radioisotope Identification
