Description
The Defence Physical Access Control Environment (DPACE)has been established to provide Defence with a fully integrated physical access control environment, based on a standard multifunction proximity (smart) card. DPACE will integrate critical security functions such as physical access control systems, visitor management systems, and pass office systems. HMAS Kuttabul/Garden Island/Fleet Base East has been chosen by Defence as the test site to undertake the 'whole of base' solution for Defence's physical access control environment requirements.
