The role is required to support the program sponsors, program owner and director through the life of the program (to 2027). They key activities to be performed under this engagement include: 1. Strategic guidance: Provide impartial guidance and strategic direction to program sponsors, leadership, and stakeholders based on extensive experience in complex technology-enabled program implementations. This includes: • Regular engagement with the Program Sponsors • Regular engagement with the Program Owner • Regular engagement with the Program Director 2. Risk identification: Identify risks and opportunities within the program, offering objective perspectives and recommendations for mitigating risks and capitalising on opportunities. 3. Governance advisory: Provide advisory support and support the alignment of stakeholders in governance forums, offering insights and recommendations to ensure effective decisionmaking and oversight of the program. This includes: • Involvement in monthly Steering Committee meetings • Involvement in monthly Program Governance Board meetings 4. Post-implementation reviews (PIRs): Lead the PIR process for program releases, conducting comprehensive assessments of outcomes and impacts to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement. 5. Assurance: Support and provide input to the conduct of DCS Digital Assurance gate and health check reviews. 6. Vendor management advice: Provide advice on procurement considerations and vendor management. 7. Continuous improvement: Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing expert guidance, promoting knowledge sharing and supporting lessons learned and best practices across the program. Program leadership team mentoring - provide mentoring, advise and strategic guidance to the program Leadership team to assist in framing strategic decisions, mitigating key risks and resolving key issues
