SA Department of Primary Industries and Regions South Australia
Gravity Survey in the Southern Stuart Shelf Region
Details
Description
The South Australian Government has signalled its continuing confidence in the ability of the State's mining sector to play a key role in the State's economic growth, by committing $22.5 million to be spent over a five year period between 2004-2008 as part of The Plan for Accelerating Exploration ("PACE").
Acquisition of geophysical data on a regional scale is a key strategy of the PACE program. A key prospective region of the State in which the data acquisition project will focus on is the Southern Stuart Shelf Region. Tenders are sought for the acquisition of approximately 4,600 gravity stations in this region.
