Details
Description
DVA’s Applied Research Programme is seeking to establish a Panel of Consultant Epidemiologists.
The DVA Applied Research Programme (ARP) provides best practice research about the health and wellbeing needs of Australia’s veteran community and ways to improve DVA’s services and care.
The ARP contributes to the whole of Department function to ensure that DVA research activities:
- Contribute to a better understanding of the needs, claiming patterns and service usage of our clients;
- Provide a holistic perspective of the veteran experience, including transition, resilience, family and wellness issues, which extend beyond our own programmes to influence a whole of government response to former members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and the ADF community; and
- Have an increased focus on data linkage activities.
