Debt Collection Services Standing Offer Arrangement

The Department of Environment, Science and Innovation is seeking to establish a Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) for the provision of Debt Collection Services.

It includes recovery of debt across a broad spectrum of individual, business and company debtors of all sizes, relating to a range of industries or activities within Australia.

Depending on requirements the services specifically include:

• debt collection activities for overdue debts;
• desktop investigations including skip tracing to locate debtors (no face to face investigations); and
• online system/portal to facilitate the referral of debts and reporting.

It does not include:

• face-to-face contact with debtors;
• initiation of legal proceedings;
• recording of debt with a credit reference agency;
• process serving activities; and
• repossession activities.
