Weed Spraying Services

Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW) is seeking suitably qualified contractors for the provision of noxious and aquatic weed control services across the region, to support its operational maintenance needs and environmental obligations.

This tender is comprised of six work areas covering multiple sites geographically:

GMW Storage Locations

1. Area 1 – Dartmouth & Hume Dams
2. Area 2 – Lake Buffalo, Lake Eildon, Goulburn Weir, Lake Nillahcootie, Lake William Hovell, Mokoan Channels, Yarrawonga Weir, Broken & Nine Mile Creeks, Waranga Basin, Goulburn River & Murray River
3. Area 3 - Loddon Dams (Lake Eppalock, Cairn Curren, Tullaroop, Newlyn & Laanecoorie Reservoirs)

GMW Irrigation and Drainage services

1. Area 4 – East Regions (Cobram/Murray Valley and Shepparton)
2. Area 5 - Central Regions (Central Goulburn and Rochester)
3. Area 6- West Region (Swan Hill, Kerang, Cohuna, Pyramid Hill, Boort), Loddon & Murray Rivers, Pyramid & Gunbower Creeks

Within each area there are two different services required to deliver this work.

• Service 1 - Ground based services
• Service 2 - Areial based services (drone)

It is GMW’s intention to have 2 preferred (1 primary and 1 secondary) contractors for each service in each area
