Description
The Botanic Gardens of Adelaide manage Botanic Gardens at Adelaide, Mount Lofty and Blackwood. The development of Adelaide and Mount Lofty has historically been guided by formal plans. However these plans have been followed as much in the breach as in the observance. The Board of the Botanic Garden and State Herbarium requires a consultant team to prepare a Master Plan for Adelaide and Mount Lofty Botanic Gardens. The Master Plan project will include: i.a review of the gardens’ principles, policies and plans ii.a conservation study of the Gardens’ living and built fabric in the context of the gardens’ contemporary role as a cultural and scientific institution iii.site master plans for Adelaide and Mount Lofty Botanic Gardens including performance evaluation plans iv.communication and consultation strategy A team approach to the master Plan project through a consortium led by an experienced project manager is likely to offer the skills and knowledge required to successfully deliver an integrated product. At the EOI stage, only short statement of capacities are required identifying a project manager, key personnel who would eventually work on the project and an indication of relevant experience. A few pages with attachments for company profiles is considered appropriate. Detailed proposals will be sought from short-listed consortia.
