Description
The Works involve the refurbishment of the steel portal, back and sheave beams at the top of the north and south towers of the Bridgewater Bridge. These structural beams provide the direct support for the sheaves, which support the two (2) 180 tonne concrete counterweights (one (1) counterweight per tower).
