Description
The Northern Lefevre Peninsula (NLP) Osborne North Infrastructure Headworks project - Package 1 includes the following components:
• Osborne North Primary Headworks.
• Osborne North Secondary Headworks – Stage 1.
The Osborne North Primary Headworks includes the construction of the extension of Mersey Road from the Techport Australia site to Pelican Point Road (13 m wide road, 1950 m in length, of which approximately 350 m is upgrading existing road pavement) includes rebuilding of the Pelican Point Road intersection and the driveway access points for International Power and ABB Grain; together with construction of associated stormwater drainage and rising main, electrical reticulation and lighting, low pressure sewer, potable water, common service trenches and landscaping of stormwater systems. This package also requires improvements to the local stormwater system by means of construction of a series of swales and detention basins, including a drainage structure under the ARTC and ABB rail corridor.
