The work consists of the construction and repair of the Waterfall Gully Trail from the existing path junction with Bilba Track to the Mount Lofty Summit.
Works include:
- Tread resurfacing including tread and sub base
- Formation of trail knicks and rolling grade dips
- Trail outslope
- Trail corridor clearance envelope
- Steps and terracing
- Drainage and rock armoured drains
- Existing vegetation management
- Weed removal
- Rest areas and stone seating
- Natural trail features
- Creek access ways
- Reuse of existing trail materials
- Removal of select trail sections and vegetation barriers
