Whyalla Airport Terminal and Carpark Upgrade

Introduction

The City of Whyalla invites qualified, licensed and experienced contractors to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for Construction project of Whyalla Airport Terminal and Carpark Upgrade.

The scope consists of extension of existing terminal building, upgrade key elements, improve elevations, additions and alterations to traffic lanes and parking facilities.

Most of the infrastructure will remain with some demolition required to suit the upgrade elements. Hard and green landscapes will also form part of the project scope.

Contractors interested in submitting an EOI will be required to satisfy the selection criteria included herein. Contractors will be required to demonstrate their capabilities and experience in similar projects with at least 3 written references directly from Client.

Contractors who have completed an EOI may then be invited to submit a tender. Council reserves the right to accept or reject any EOI at its absolute discretion.

Lodgement

Contractors should email their EOI documents to [email hidden] before the closing date and time followed by a hard copy express posted with evidence that it was posted before the closing date and time.

Emailed submission files must not be any larger than 5MB and it is the responsibility of the Registrant to receive an e-receipt, acknowledging receipt of their EOI documentation by Whyalla City Council.

Expressions of Interest must be submitted by 4.00pm on Tuesday 20 August 2013.
