Description
The Accompanied Children's Support Service (ACSS) is a 3.5 year pilot program testing the provision of support for accompanied children and young people by a team of 5FTE specialist workers located in two Specialist Homelessness Services.This multi-year evaluation of the ACSS is required to report on its effectiveness in supporting children and young people as victim-survivors in their own right. It will also help DCJ to understand any changes to the service model that would improve its effectiveness and whether this support also helps with breaking the cycle of future DFV and homelessness for this cohort.
