Transport for NSW (Transport Infrastructure Projects) / Western Gateway Precinct - Building Code of Australia / Disability Discrimination Act Peer Review Services - IPD-23-15639

Transport for NSW ("TfNSW") is seeking a consultant to undertake peer reviews of documentation of the three Western Gateway Precinct ("WGP") proposals and in relation to the Building Code of Australia ("BCA"); and the relevant standards, regulations, codes, and safety for building projects accessibility legislation, such as the Disability Discrimination Act ("DDA"), the Disability (Access to Premises - Buildings) Standards, 2010 ("The Premises Standards") and the National Construction Code ("NCC"). The WGP’s public domain will be delivered in stages by three different third party developers and may be managed by multiple entities. The proposals include multiple BCA Performance Solutions, particularly in relation to fire engineering. The aim of the BCA, DDA peer review on behalf of TfNSW is to ensure that the proposals meet the TfNSW Transport and Customer Requirements and provide safe and equitable public access throughout construction and in the final state.
