Maroon State School SIE Heritage Residence Reconfiguration and Covered Link

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a heritage residence Reconfiguration and Covered Link at Maroon State School, located at 2772 Boonah Rathdowney Rd, Maroon QLD 4310 as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.

The existing school and residence has significant heritage values and the works have been designed to minimise the impact on these values. The project involves construction of a new suspended covered link between the existing residence and an existing classroom building. The Internal reconfiguration of the residence into a fully functioning administration building with minimal impact on the existing building. Fit-Out works including returning the external fascade back to its former state. The replacement of storage and outdoor learning spaces.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors with a QBCC Builders licence to undertake the entire scope of works. Contractors are required to have an maintain Professional Indemnity Insurance.
