Nerang State School E Block and Prep Playground Refurbishment with Design (Eligible PQC Contractors Level 2)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the refurbishment of E Block and Prep Playground at Nerang State School located at 3 Nerang Street, Nerang QLD 4211 as a part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.

The scope of works for E Block comprises the refurbishment of E Block, minor works to the external courtyard, upgrade works to the stairs/walkway and demolition of the modular building adjacent E Block. The scope of works for the Prep Playground comprises refurbishment of the existing playground including new play equipment and landscaping works. All works are to be complete by 10 December 2021.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors with a minium PQC Level 2 with certified 3rd Party Quality Assurance and a QBCC Builder's Licence to undertake the entire scope of works.

Tender Documentation will be emailed to eligiable contractors who meet the minimum PQC requirements. Details of the site inspection will be advised in the email and letters to tenderers.

Submissions close on Tuesday 24 August 2021 at 2:00pm.

IMPORTANT: Where a PQC Level is stated, the Principal is not obliged to provide a tender document, consider or accept a tender unless the tenderer: is pre-qualified under the Queensland Government’s Prequalification (PQC) System to the nominated level (or higher); satisfies financial requirements; and meets project-specific criteria.
