Description
Access to City West Station is facilitated via two pedestrian level crossings consisting of safety gates and flashing warning lights. Since the opening of the Airport line in 2022 and Ellenbrook line in 2024 the train services operating during peak periods through this location has increased from six trains per hour (tph) in each direction to 15tph. This increase in train services results in a significant increase in pedestrian crossing closure times. A business case has been developed for the City West Project, reflecting a comprehensive problem definition, options identification/analysis, economic assessment and implementation analysis. The PTA seeks the provision of Services, including (but not limited to): • Provision of a Project Development Plan based on the Business Case and Scope Change Rationale and, as a minimum, meet the Project Definition Plan Guidelines specified by the Government of Western Australia Department of Treasury. • Facilitation and development of Procurement and Risk PDP components
