Project Overview Kempsey District Hospital (KDH) – CCRR project Health Infrastructure (HI) is working on behalf of eHealth to establish and manage a program of works to support the roll out of Health Grade Enterprise Network (HGEN) upgrades across hospitals and health service buildings in NSW. HGEN replaces aging ICT infrastructure to improve network coverage, reliability, and performance across NSW Health facilities. HI’s role is to manage the auditing, redesign and construction works of the physical spaces, now known as the Cabling and Communication Room Remediation project (CCRR): eHealth and HI have selected Kempsey District Hospital (KDH) as a pilot site for upgrades under the HGEN program of works, The initial construction program will start at Kempsey District Hospital, commencing in October 2025. The project works includes: Remediation works to 13 existing communications room on the campus aligned with the principal’s projects requirements documents.Design finalisation aligned with the WSP specifications and drawingsBuilding works, minor hydraulic, fire protection (dry), electrical, security, communications, BMS and mechanical servicesNew communications cabling to support new Wi-Fi infrastructurePlanning & execution of works with consideration of change management processes, methods of procedures (MoPs), disruption noticesCommissioning and testing of new works. Handover to Mid North Coast LHD and warranty maintenance
