Description
Background information: The Mt Lawley Hospital Program is to support the ICT transition of the hospital from private entity to WA Health. The ICT Business Unit provides solution development, implementation, transition, and operations support for the WA health system’s clinical and corporate business systems. This includes the strategic planning, architecture and ongoing management of the WA health system’s ICT network, applications and infrastructure, provision of ICT support to WA health system customers and the management of ICT security and risk (including security of patient data). The Program currently requires the services of a Solution Architect. The role will be working as One Program Team and reporting to Program Director/Program Manager. The following lists the requirements of this role: Relationship Management • Partners with Program Delivery and ICT operational teams on business and information planning to ensure systems-related agency goals are met. • Provides technical input to disaster recovery planning including maintaining and undertaking testing of systems. • Liaises with external stakeholders on applications development and support in a multi-organisational access environment. Client Development and Management • Provides the link between the application, internal and external clients and service providers. • Maintains client liaison for the application environment, including contributing to the development of strategies to deliver customer focused ICT solutions. • Liaises with suppliers and stakeholders. Planning, Projects and Policy • Contributes to the development of policies, standards, guidelines, procedures, concepts, artefacts and methodologies for technical application development. • Designs, plans and implements a range of information management projects within relevant portfolio. Value Delivery • Monitors client service levels to ensure quality outcomes are provided. The specified personnel are expected to have the following Criteria. • Substantial experience in strategic Program end to end Roadmap development. • Has successfully delivered similar engagement in size and complexities. • Significant experience in stakeholder engagement maintains relationships and good corporate knowledge – all important elements for HSS to maintain project momentum and continued deliver of positive outcomes toward the Program. • Clear oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to negotiate with and influence internal and external clients and stakeholders in a range of contexts. • Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to manage competing priorities of varying complexities and deliver measurable outcomes. • Experience or familiarity with adjacent disciplines including project management, change management and/or IT Service Management. • Demonstrated significant skills and experience in Solutions Architecture, preferably in a Health services setting. • Highly developed and demonstrable knowledge of Enterprise and/or Solution Architecture frameworks, processes, methodology tailoring and risk management. • Professional training and/or certification in industry recognised Architecture frameworks or methodologies such as TOGAF, Zachman or ArchiMate.
