Digital Media Production Services

The Department undertakes a number of public information activities to inform the Australian community about government services and payments, which includes the production of digital media content.The Communication Division manages the production of multimedia content with production occurring in-house or on location, nationally

The Department is seeking experienced film/video and television production professionals to provide:

• filming services for the creation of multimedia content to be used in promotional products;

• online, ‘how to’ instructional video content to assist customers accessing digital services;

• internal and external information; and

• content for DVDs and internal training videos.

The Department is also seeking experienced online community engagement managers, whose duties will include without limitation:

• monitor and respond to questions and issues in social media;

• develop and implement social media communication to support business priorities;

• facilitate online discussions between staff, citizens and stakeholders; develop online collaboration spaces; promote the payments and services of our Department; incorporate social media tactics into broader communication strategies;

• provide advice on how social media can be used to support the Department’s business and communication objectives; and

• develop, implement and evaluate social media strategies for both internal and external audiences to support the Department’s social media presence.
