Australian Government Department of Social Services
Request for Expressions of Interest (REOI) for the Humanitarian Settlement Program
Details
Description
The Commonwealth of Australia, as represented by the Department of Social Services, is seeking expressions of interest to this REOI to develop a shortlist of suitably qualified parties who the Department proposes to:
- invite to participate in a Co-design Workshop to assist the Department in developing the model for the Humanitarian Settlement Program; and
- respond to any subsequent Request for Tender (RFT) for the Department’s new Humanitarian Settlement Program.
The Department is taking the opportunity to re-design the settlement services it provides, taking into account the evaluation of the Humanitarian Settlement Support (HSS) and Complex Case Support (CCS) Programs and commitment of the Australian Government to improved English, employment and education outcomes for humanitarian entrants.
The Department is merging the HSS and CCS Programs into a single program, the Humanitarian Settlement Program. The Humanitarian Settlement Program will build skills and knowledge for social and economic well-being of humanitarian entrants through a tailored, needs-based case management approach.
