Cancer Australia is keen to ensure a nationally consistent approach to clinical cancer data collection and reporting that will facilitate comparative analysis and benchmarking nationally of cancer outcomes across Australia, with the overall aim of improving outcomes for all people with cancer.
Organisations with expertise in clinical cancer data management and reporting are invited to apply for:
A) the establishment of a standing offer arrangement with one or more suppliers for a period of 2 years to provide these services on a non-exclusive basis;
B) the delivery of an initialGynaecological cancers data management project for improved clinical outcomes and benchmarking for the National Centre for Gynaecological Cancers that will be undertaken in partnership with National Breast and Ovarian Cancer Centre to: There are two elements to this project:
1. Coordinate the pilot testing of a developed specialist clinical national minimum data set for gynaecological cancers; and
2. Undertake a brief scoping study of existing resources available for the collection of surgical synoptic data for gynaecological cancers at point of care .Tenderer/s may apply for one or both elements of this initial project
