Digital Library Content

The Public Library Services (PLS), on behalf of the Libraries Board of South Australia, is seeking responses for the provision of Digital Library Content (DLC).

DLC will be a panel arrangement that combines the need to provide stable, reliable and relevant digital content across three (3) Content Formats which will be delivered via supplier owned platform(s)/application(s). The three (3) digital Content Formats are:

• eBooks;
• Audiobooks; and
• eMagazines.

Respondents will be invited to provide Offer/s for one or more of the above Content Formats.

The key objectives directly related to the supply of DLC under this ITS include the requirement for suppliers to provide:

• a stable, reliable and relevant provision of digital library content across electronic mediums for use by the public libraries of South Australia and their customers;
• support services to Public Library Services to assist in the access to content, including authentication management and ensure the privacy of users data;
• discoverability options to ensure the digital content is discovered and accessed by South Australian Public Libraries Network; and
• robust reporting tools.
