Description
The Department of Agriculture and Food’s requirement for the provision of Ancillary Services is needed for DAFWA to extend the NGR borefield as part of the Gascoyne Food Bowl project.
The successful Contractor is required to;
- Establish a 12 m wide infrastructure corridor from the eastern end of the current NGR borefield to the eastern end of the proposed borefield extension;
- Construct and maintain for the duration of the project, an access track within the cleared infrastructure corridor;
- Repair and maintain for the duration of the project, the existing access track within the current NGR bore field;
- Where required clear & realign the existing Northern Borefield service corridor to a width of 12 metres and construct and maintain an access track within the realigned areas;
- Construct access ramps through the northern bank of the Gascoyne River to facilitate materials acquisition from the bed of the Gascoyne River;
- Clear and rehabilitate drill sites; and
- Carry out dust suppression activities for the project.
The Department of Agriculture and Food Western Australia is responsible for this program, which will be project managed and supervised by the Contract Authority Representative to be determined.
