Housing Tasmania is seeking submissions for a Design and Construct Tender for the refurbishment of 81 accommodation units and common areas of a social housing residential unit complex located at Stainforth Court, 1 Queens Walk, New Town.
Tender submissions must achieve the Director’s requirements and address the quality and amenity of the public internal areas to each block, and within each of the 81 accommodation units and common spaces. The upgrade must take place without significant changes to the public spaces and the envelope of each of the building blocks. Internal changes to the units should address the need for a more functional liveable space which also meets contemporary standards of living.
