Description
The Department of Haematology, PathWest Laboratory Medicine WA (PW), at Royal Perth Hospital (RPH) provides diagnostic molecular services for RPH, Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital, Fremantle Hospital and other referring private laboratories and agencies. The laboratory utilises a range of manual and automated assay systems for the detection, identification and quantitation of disease related messenger ribonucleic acid transcripts in the settings of chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML) and acute myeloid leukaemia (AML.) The laboratory also provides allele specific assays for polymorphic and mutational identification.
The laboratory requires an automated, real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) instrument to facilitate quantitative PCR (qPCR) and end-point PCR genotyping analysis for multiple assays utilizing a range of fluorescent dyes, including FAM, VIC and ROX etc.
PathWest Laboratory Medicine WA is seeking offers for the Supply, Delivery, Installation, Commissioning and Training of One (1) PCR instrument with an Optional Maintenance Agreement.
