Call Centre Services for 2011 Census Field Staff Applications

The services under this tender will concentrate on the recruitment of staff for the Area Supervisor and Collector positions. Approximately 27,000 temporary field staff will be recruited to fill these two positions for the 2011 Census, with around 130 staff required for the 2010 Dress Rehearsal.In recruiting field staff to undertake the delivery and collection of Census forms there will be two available means of application, all capturing the same applicant information for loading to the RaPS:(a)Call Centre facilities - an automated system of voice capture (by telephone) with intelligent call routing for manual operation; and(b)An Internet based application form developed internally by the ABS and hosted on the ABS Web site (the successful Tenderer will not be required to develop this system).The two field staff positions that will utilise the Call Centre facilities are:Area Supervisor; and Collector.
