Description

DPS is seeking to engage a suitably qualified company to conduct a review of visitor and tourism related experiences at Parliament House. The review will include, but will not be limited to:

a) identifying best practice visitor and tourism experiences consistent with Parliament House as a symbol of Australian democracy;

b) examining the strengths and weaknesses of the current visitor experience at Parliament House, including visitors to the building and virtual visitors online;

c) examining the retail planning and purchasing arrangements for The Parliament Shop;

d) examining the exhibition space at Parliament House;

e) examining broader community engagement activities undertaken by DPS;

f) identifying short and medium term opportunities to enhance the visitor experience and engagement with the community; and

g) advising on operational matters, including the development of an overarching strategy and implementation program.
