Description
A brief scope for Guildford Rail Bridge Maintenance Walkways is provided below for the purposes of this document. A more detailed scope of works for the project is in the Clause 3, Scope of Works Specifications.
- Installation of two maintenance walkways; one on each of the two Guildford bridges (Up Main and Down Main);
- Removal of the existing static line systems;
- Removal of existing refuges;
- Installation of two new static line fall arrest systems on the walkways;
- Modifications to the cable tray storage system for services to ensure compatible installation;
- Painting and/or corrosion protection of connection points to minimise rates of rust or deterioration;
- Earthing and bonding;
- Anti-climb measures and
- Removal of existing refuge platforms.
