Provision of Specialist Medical Services: Occupational Physician Including Psychiatric Referral Services

The Department of Education is seeking a suitably qualified Contractor to provide occupational physician services to referred Department employees with non-work related medical conditions .

The required services will include:

• Assessment and advice to line managers and school principals on fitness-for-work;
• Guidance on management of risks to prevent future exacerbation of the employees' injuries or illness; and
• Referring relevant employees for psychiatric assessment to assist with providing recommendations (if applicable).

The Contractor will be required to detail its nominated psychiatry services provider, including information of the arrangement in place to deliver the services.
