Description
The Department is seeking psychological services, learning & development services and services related to the delivery of training for the graduated viewing of child abuse material (CAM) and counter terrorism material.
The Department is seeking costing information of a per delivery cost as well as any costs related to developing and maintaining the training material.
The service provider will be required to provide training to ABF officers in major capital cities and around the country. The service will need to be delivered in person at a suitable location. The topics included are resilience, the impacts of viewing child abuse material (CAM) and counter terrorism material, helpful work practises, graduated viewing, coping strategies as well as ways to manage the impact of one’s work on family members. This training ensures that the ABF has strategies in place for pre-exposure preparedness and support at the time of, and following exposure to, child abuse material (CAM) and counter terrorism material. This training assisted the ABF to mitigate the risk to ABF officers exposed to distressing material in the course of their work.
