Alliance Contract for the Design and Construction of Leach Highway/Welshpool Road Interchange Project

The project scope includes the following:

• 2.2 km of four lane dual carriageway
• Four lane bridge Leach Highway over Welshpool Road
• Two lane bridge along Leach Highway over the Perth-Armadale rail line
• Welshpool Road pavement upgrading
• ITS facilities
• Pedestrian and cycling facilities along Leach Highway
• Service relocations
• Safety improvements including street lighting and safety barriers
• Hard and soft landscaping

Pre-qualification Required

Roadworks R4 or higher, Bridgeworks B4 and a financial rating of at least F100.

By submitting an expression of interest in, or tender for, this project, you will become subject to the Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016. Commonwealth Funded Contract that requires compliance with the Australian Govt Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme?

“It is a requirement of this project that any persons contracted to undertake the building work be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme established by the Building and Construction (Improving Productivity) Act 2016, at the time of the entering into the contract for the building work and while the building work is being carried out.

Tenderers intending to submit a bid as a Joint Venture must review the additional requirements as outlined by Section 26(1)(f) of the Fair Work (Building Industry – Accreditation Scheme) Regulations 2016 by the Federal Safety Commission (located at http://www.fsc.gov.au)”
