Adelaide Plains Council
Licensed Point to Point Wireless Network bridge
Details
Description
1.1 The Adelaide Plains Council (the Council) invites tenders from Tenderers for the design, purchase and commissioning of a licensed point to point wireless network bridge between the Council Depot in Mallala and Two Wells Office and subsequent connections as indicated in the specifications/drawings] (the Services). The Council will enter into a Contract for the Services with the successful Tenderer.
1.2 Council is looking to create a wireless network bridge between its officers in place of the existing VDSL network being utilised. Whilst there has been some previously established links between the Mallala Principal Office and the Mallala Depot and the Two Wells Office and the Two Wells Library, these links have since become unviable to use due to their age and would need to be decommissioned.
1.3 The intention is to provide network access for PC, Print and VOIP as well as for hosting of business service on site or internet traffic to be directed to the Two Wells Office which has recently had Fibre to the Premise installed by NBN.
