Provision of livestock and wildlife disease surveillance and investigation services and emergency animal disease response services.

The Department of Primary Industries and Water is inviting Veterinary Practices to tender for the provision of livestock and wildlife disease surveillance and investigation services for the next three years. This will include providing monthly reports on disease syndromes observed by the practice veterinarians for livestock and wildlife species. Those practices tendering for livestock and/or wildlife services may also tender for the provision of emergency animal disease response services. Specifically this will entail providing field surveillance veterinarians for a pre-determined period to work within Tasmania during an emergency animal disease response.
