LGH EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT AIRLOCK & AMBULANCE RAMP ENCLOSURE

The works to the ambulance air lock and ramp enclosure will involve building changes to this work area at the LGH to improve patient safety, care and comfort by enclosing the current ambulance ramp area and changing the air lock space, providing additional privacy and comfort to all users, especially during inclement weather. Additional mechanical and ancillary services upgrades are also required as part of these works.

The works proposed will also support Work, Health and Safety and other improvements identified by Ambulance Tasmania (AT) within the current ED ambulance airlock.
