Architectural services in relation to upgrading buildings for disabled access and other minor building works.

The City of (“Council”) has an annual Capital Works budget of approximately $14 to $15 million.This includes traffic management, road works, parks and landscape, building and water management projects.This annual budget is formulated for a 3 year rolling program.

The Capital Works Division is responsible for the design and documentation for some building components of projects identified in the program.This is achieved by the engagement of consultants on a project or term basis and also by in house resources where appropriate.

The Council is calling for tenders from Consultants wishing to register for the provision of architectural services in relation to upgrading buildings for disabled access and other minor building works.

The successful tenderer will be required to provide the following services:

(a)Detail design and documentation for construction of such projects listed on the annual works program; and

(b)Concept and preliminary designs and costings for such projects listed on the 3 year forward works program.

The Consultant is to provide the Services for a term of 36 months with a start date of .

A regular performance review and evaluation of the design services being provided by the Consultant will be carried out with the Consultant during the term.
